How To Market My Small Business...

If I have a small business then it is a given that I would not be able to come up with costly marketing strategies but I would still need ways to effectively market my small business nonetheless. If the global giants in technology and consumer electronic products are fighting out a world war, it is not different for a small business at a regional or local level. An air conditioner repairing business faces equal challenges and competition from similar businesses in a neighborhood or in a city. For example, in Dallas there are several small businesses that are into lawn mowing business. Now unless I or you come up with a solid strategy to market my or your business, it is likely we would not be able to expand it. It can get worse when competitors would start eating into our existing clientele.
Now, the bigger question comes up is how can one market a small business. The obvious and also the most effective answer to that is internet marketing. Internet marketing is not simply posting ads on different websites or trying to get a better ranking on search engines but it calls for a detailed plan and a multi prong approach. Some small business owners create a Facebook page to have an online presence or put up a website and the marketing strategy ends there. What most entrepreneurs do not realize is that if I want to see optimum results then I have to continually market my small business and not just do it once and expect to reap benefits for years. Why does a well known global brand advertise incessantly on TV or Radio or on billboards? It is to have a persistent exposure and a small business has to do the same with internet marketing.
To have an effective internet marketing strategy for a small business one would need an internet marketing consultant and it is important that the consultant is locally based with the knowhow of the area your small business caters to. If I have a small business in Dallas and my internet marketing consultant is based in New York, it hardly helps to come up with the best strategy. Sure, the internet marketing consultant knows enough about marketing but does not have an idea what happens at local levels in my business area. What you think you know but really dont about your website...

Ok, here's the scoop. You really should be updating your website at least once a month for search engine optimization. I know it can be difficult for some of you who are doctors or own your own business and you are the only one doing "Everything." I know, I've been there. But, there is always a way... You need to be researching your keywords and phrases each month and making at least those changes. You need to add backlinks to it as well. You can do this by using social media such as twitter and facebook and putting your website link in your comments. This creates a backlink back to your website and the search engines love it. You also need at least 6% of your keywords or keyword phrases in your website pages. Also, make sure you have a good offer and a form box on each page so that someone can subscribe for your offer. This is how we built our med spa and chiropractic businesses.

The last thing is make sure you are following up on all your leads from the internet. It is important you get back with them as soon as possible. Parker Seminars

Hi all, no I don't work for Parker, but they have positively impacted my life over 30 years. What fun, wanted to be just like the Kimballs, dad, Cheatwood, Dr. Griffin, Dr. Karl, my uncles and many more. Well here today more like them then not.
